The Cross of Perun

The antiquity of the runes is well-known. According to professor Herman Wirt their age is more than sixteen hundred years. The runes are something greater than just an alphabet, a writing. They date from the times of Hyperborea and the Golden Age. Today we still can find splinters of former aryan grandeur in cultures of white peoples, a frozen outer forms, that doesn't talk anything to philistines, but to us they appear to be the crystals of the purest nordic ice, holding the spark of divine flame, the weapon and the knowledge, given to us by Gods of North; the keys, that open the doors.

It's obviously clear to us that german rune Hagal and slavonic, russian symbol, known as the Cross of Perun (and it's numerous variations - Perun's Flower, Perun's Kolovrat, Perun's Shield) have a common nature. Finding parallels like that and not-occasional bonds in traditions and cultures of white race indeed opens the doors to archetypes that were silent up to know.

Despite the sway of christianity Slavonic peoples (and Baltic too!) keep God Perun in numerous expressions, especialy in keeping vows, living according to the right, the truth (Rota, Rita). People, that have violated the highest Divine right, were overtaken by the following curse:

"May Perun hit you", "May Perun's arrow kill you". It's also spoken "Perun ruins with a hailstorm the fields of those, who give short weight to bread". Thus we can see, that to our ancestors Perun was not only the well-known God of Storm and Thunder, War etc., but also the Keeper of the Right, the Law, and namely Prav' as the third world, All-World (Welt-All) above the Yav' (the world of men) and Nav' (other worlds); Everything springs from Prav', it is the basis of everything (All). And the Hagal rune is the symbol of preservation and defending of the Universe against the Chaos, being the Krist-All, creating and regulating, guarding Cosmos. And so we can see how Perun just as Thor leads the battle in other planes of existance for white race preserving against the forces hostile to us.

Hagal rune tells about the God within person, confidence in might of aryan spirit and loyalty(!) towards it, so are both German Thor and Baltic-Slavonic Perun - straightforward, honest, faithful and swift with their flaming Blitzkrieg in punishing the enemy. The lightnings of Perun remind the German Sieg runes not by accident, for they are single symbol, from here they came to our ancestors' consciousness, struck their hearts with power of light, fire and electricity. The most ancient runes came to our forefathers as natural phenomena, the power of Gods is evident in nature, for they show themselves through nature in this world.

The Cross of Perun and Hagal are sacred symbol, binding men and God, signifying man in microcosm and the Universe in macrocosm. Here lie deep racial mysteries, both of Sacred Year, Mystical Wedding and aryan life of struggle as well. Russian needle-works display clearly Hagal, six-part basis of Sacred Year. Horizontal line, drawn through the centre, adds vernal and autumnal equinox to this system, displaying outwardly eight phases of the year and holding the ninth in it centre. Thus we know that not only number 6, but 9 as well is devoted to Perun. Historical evidences tell that 9 jaw-bones of wild boars were hammered into Tree of Perun (an Oak), in russian spells the Tree of Perun has nine tops, Balts knew 9 Perkon's sons and nine steps takes Thor before his death in the Battle of Ragnarok.

Russian culture was formerly rich with wood-carvers, who decorated with quaint patterns both facades and interior of houses, house utensils. The Cross of Perun was general motif on carrying girders, that was to all appearances guarding sign against fire, for who else if not Perun would defend from his own element.

It is beyond any doubt a guarding, protective symbol. Both Hagal rune and the Cross of Perun tell us, that men, observing the heritage, can bind themselves with world of the highest right and divine wisdom, to place everything under their command. All the white race's diseases and threats to our world could be overcame and defeated with chastise-weapon of aryan gods, for a white man, who has realized and brought his spiritual and physical nature together, is capable of a great deal! Articles of russian handicrafts are covered with the symbol of Ancient God. Spinning wheels, lullabies... Extension of a kin, white children, coming generations under revived protective symbol - this is the turn of white destiny, rotation of spinning wheel - braiding the own thread of fate , that is what Gods expect us to do.

Hagal is the rune matrix, the mother of all the runes and many other knowledge, which sons and daughters of race should obtain to affirm the sacred unity between themselves, the Gods, the Universe. The knowledge are hidden for the time being, like the Perun's Flower (Fireflower, Perunika) - a sky-blue iris of six petals. Perun's Flower is also the name of a Fern, which according to beliefs, blossoms at the night of summer solstice and stormy nights. The one, who wasn't frightened of obstacles and found it, is awarded with a special sight of hidden, understanding of secret and full-fledged with essence of things.
